Meet Alysia and Michael Ssentamu
Authors of the Award-winning Sticky Icky Vicky™ Series
Alysia and Michael are husband and wife health professionals and the minds behind Sticky Icky Vicky.
In 2019, they decided to write a book that inspired children to believe that, no matter what, they had the power to choose to overcome their fears.
That book became Sticky Icky Vicky: Courage over Fear. It’s a story for anyone—big or small—who needs some encouragement to get over a fear. They have since added Choosing to Be Myself, I Love Animals A to Z, and Never Ever Give Up (coming soon).
By taking little steps, we get closer to our goal each and every day.
Alysia and Michael live in the Australian capital, Canberra, with their children, two dogs, an African Grey Parrot, two turtles and some chickens. They’re working on the next Sticky Icky Vicky book as well as some other writing projects. They love to hear from their readers.
